Frequently Asked Questions

  • After you request a consultation, you will receive a response within 24 hours to schedule your complimentary consultation. During the call, we will briefly discuss your needs, answer any questions you have, and explore how AND’s services can support your goals. If we are a good fit, you will be guided through the next steps to begin your therapy journey.

  • Therapy is a commitment and investment in your well-being. Session fees vary depending on the service. We will go over rates during your consultation. A New Day Therapy and Wellness believes everyone deserves access to quality care.

  • Insurance is not accepted— A New Day Therapy and Wellness is private, self-pay only (via credit/debit card). All payments are due at the time of service.

  • Everything discussed in session is confidential with a few exceptions. If you express intent and plan to harm yourself or others, or in cases of suspected child or elder abuse, confidentiality may be broken.

  • You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost.

Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.

You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees.

For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call 800-985-3059.

  • Clients are kindly asked to provide at least 24 hours’ notice for any cancellations or requests to reschedule. Because your therapy session time is reserved just for you, cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice—or missed appointments (no-shows)—may be subject to a fee. We will review the full cancellation policy together before your first session.

  • Yes! When clinically appropriate, virtual sessions are a safe, flexible, and convenient way to connect—whether you're at home, at work, or simply prefer the comfort of your own space. All sessions are held through a secure, confidential video platform to protect your privacy.

Before your appointment, we will send you everything you need to get started. All you need is a quiet, private space and a stable internet connection. If it’s your first time doing therapy online, don’t worry—we will guide you through it.

Virtual therapy may not be appropriate for all clinical needs—we will help determine what’s best for your care during your consultation or intake.
